Itinerary

Day 1 | Arrival - Magelang

Arrival at any time. Transfer to Magelang. Stay overnight in a village near the Borobudur temple.

Day 2 | Magelang - Yogyakarta
- 08:00 AM Enjoy a cycling tour through the village’s small roads, offering a closer look at the daily life of the locals. The surrounding natural beauty will be impossible to miss.
- 12:30 PM Visit Borobudur, the largest Buddhist monument in the world. Learn about this 1.200 years old temple from a local guide.
- 16:00 PM Drive to the city of Yogyakarta. Stay two nights in the urban area.

Day 3 | Yogyakarta - Prambanan
- 09:00 AM Explore the city of Yogyakarta by riding a bentor (Indonesia’s version of a tuk-tuk). We will pass along the famous Malioboro Street and make a stop to visit a traditional market, where you can discover colorful spices, tropical fruits, and fresh vegetables.
- Learn about the history of Yogyakarta Sultanate with a visit to Kraton Sultan Palace and Taman Sari Water Castle.
- 15:00 PM After lunch, we will visit Prambanan, the magnificent Hindu temple complex dating back to the 9th century.

Day 4 | Yogyakarta - Bromo
- 06:45 AM Take a morning train to East Java, then continue with a private car for about three hours to a village near Mount Bromo.
- 15:00 PM In the afternoon, trek to the Bromo crater for a truly special experience and enjoy the breathtaking landscapes surrounding the volcano. Feel the serenity of the vast landscape of Bromo caldera in the afternoon.

Day 5 | Bromo - Bondowoso
- 03:30 AM Drive with a Jeep to the sunrise view point. Witness the unreal landscape of Bromo caldera at its best.
- 09:00 AM Continue the journey to Bondowoso. Stay overnight here

Accommodation: Grand Padis / Ijen view
Day 6 | Bondowoso - Ijen - Bali
- 01.00 AM At midnight we drive about 2 hours to Paltuding. From this point we start trekking to the rim of the Ijen Crater.
- The trekking takes 1,5 hours up and down. Witness the unreal landscape of turquoise color acidic lake and the mountain range as the background.
- 09:30 AM Take a ferry to Bali and transfer to your next destination.

Some tourist attractions in Yogyakarta are closed on Monday. We advise you to choose Monday as your arrival day.
